New free guided tours of the Roman thermal baths in via Terracina in Naples to admire fascinating mosaics and ancient environments.

The appointments with the Free guided tours in Roman Baths in via Terracina a Napoli, in the Fuorigrotta district, and this time they will take place Saturday October 13 e Sunday 14 October 2018.

The guides will always be made by Neapolitan Archaeological Group and will be free with departures every hour. This important archaeological complex is not well known, but thanks to the work of this archaeological group it is gaining more and more notoriety and visitors are able to know a little gem of the neighborhood.

The Roman Baths of via Terracina were discovered in 1939 and date back to the first half of the 2nd century AD. You can still admire them fascinating white and black mosaics like what one represents Nereid sitting on the tail of a young newt, between cupids and dolphins. Furthermore, you can walk among the remains of ancient thermal environments, which were once arranged on multiple floors.
