An unmissable appointment at the Palazzo delle Arti in Naples with the unpublished exhibition on the life of Frida Kahlo!

Starting Monday, May 3, 2021 , the PAN, Palazzo delle Arti in Naples , will host the wonderful exhibition dedicated to the life of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo , the symbol of female independence. The exhibition is titled: Frida Kahlo: Ojos que no ven corazón que no siente.

This will be a special exhibition also because the Frida Kahlo Corporation has chosen our city, Naples, as the first stop for this event, which will allow you to delve into the most beautiful and intimate aspects of the life of one of Mexico's most beloved women and an icon of twentieth-century avant-garde art.

Palazzo Fondi will also host a special exhibition next September, again dedicated to Frida Kahlo and entitled Chaos Inside.

The exhibition on Frida Kahlo at the Pan

By participating in the Frida Kahlo exhibition at the Pan, you will be able to learn about the various aspects and most important moments of the artist's life. We will begin with the story of her childhood , then move on to her adolescence , where she already manifested her rebellion by dressing in men's clothing. And then on to her meeting with Diego Rivera , the love of her life, up until her death.

The exhibition features numerous previously unpublished photographs , numerous letters written by the artist herself, and meticulous reconstructions of all the rooms in which Frida Kahlo lived, including her bedroom and studio at Casa Azul . Reproductions of jewelry and clothing she wore, including ethnic and tribal-inspired accessories, will also be on display .

It will be an exciting journey into the life of this great artist and, thanks to the immersive multimedia area, even more engaging for the visitor.

The rules and schedules

The exhibition dedicated to the intense life of Frida Kahlo will welcome visitors from Monday to Friday from 09:30 am to 20:00 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 09:30 am to 21:30 pm.

Obviously, all coronavirus-limiting measures will be followed when entering the PAN . Visitors must wear a mask , maintain social distancing , and avoid gatherings.
