An unmissable appointment at the Palazzo delle Arti in Naples with the unpublished exhibition on the life of Frida Kahlo!
From Monday 3 May 2021 the Pan, Palace of the Arts of Naples, will welcome the wonderful show dedicated to the life of the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, the symbol of female independence. The exhibition is titled like this: Frida Kahlo: Ojos que no ven heart que no siente.
It will be one special exhibition also because the Frida Kahlo Corporation has chosen our city, Naples, as the first stop of this event that will allow you to get to know the most beautiful and intimate aspects of life in depth of one of the most loved women in Mexico and an icon of the artistic avant-garde of the twentieth century.
Also Palazzo Fondi next September it will host a special exhibition always dedicated to Frida Kahlo and entitled the Chaos inside.
The exhibition on Frida Kahlo at the Pan
By participating in the exhibition on Frida Kahlo at the Pan you can know the various aspects and the most important moments of the artist's life. We will start from the history of his childhood, then we will move on toadolescence where he already manifests his rebellion by dressing in men's clothes. And then again at the meeting with Diego Rivera, the love of his life, until he reaches his own Death.
Many on display unpublished photos, many letters written by the artist herself but also the meticulous reconstruction of all environments where Frida Kahlo lived, like the bedroom and study of Casa Azul. They will then be exhibited reproductions of jewels and of the clothes she wears, as accessories of ethnic and tribal inspiration.
It will be an exciting journey in the life of this great artist and thanks to'multimedia immersive area even more engaging for the visitor.
The rules and schedules
The exhibition dedicated to the intense life of Frida Kahlo will be able to welcome visitors Monday to Friday 09:30 am - 20:00 am and on Saturdays and Sundays from 09: 30 at 21: 30.
Obviously, for admission to the Pan, all the standards to limit the spread of Coronavirus. Visitors must necessarily use the mask, respect the social distancing and avoid gatherings.
