The rides of the Faito cable car restart and the Piazzale will be converted thanks to a great project!
Friday May 14 2021 they started working again rides of the Faito cable car, a beautiful path from the sea to the mountains and vice versa with a wonderful view.
The historic "panarella" of the Faito cableway leaves every day from Castellammare di Stabia and arrives in 1100 meters of altitude to get to Monte Faito in just 7 minutes during which you can relax looking at a fantastic panorama.
The new square
The races are daily and have restarted as part of the "The Squares of Faito”For the reconversion of the Upper Cableway Square with the aim of building a system of squares with large-scale elements inside them such as totems, landmarks and various furnishings under a large roof that is also useful for welcoming travelers.
The cable car rides and the anti Covid-19 regulations
Due to the pandemic, each run can carry up to 17 passengers and currently the timetable is from 10.00 to 17.00, while in summer it will be extended to 21.00. Of course the cars will be sanitized every day and at every stop, i windows will be open or half open and on board there is theobligation to wear a mask.
