Fuorigrotta, soon a new sports center with 14 fields and bar on the former Rama Club

What will the new sports center with tennis, padel and soccer in Fuorigrotta be like?
The project for the redevelopment of the former Rama Club was presented by the company ASD Sport Life, a recently established entity that has put a detailed technical and economic plan on the table.
The total investment amounts to 1,2 million euro for the adaptation of the system, to which are added 4,9 million euro planned for the multi-year management of the structure.
The Municipality of Naples will receive a annual fee of 48 thousand euros plus VAT, within a concession lasting 12 years, which comprises management, ordinary and extraordinary maintenance.
The overall value of the transaction is approximately 6,6 million euro.

What does the new structure include?
The new sports centre will be built on an area that will be completely redeveloped to accommodate 14 sports fields latest generation:
- tennis courts,
- padel courts,
- beach tennis courts,
- a five-a-side football pitch
In addition to the gaming facilities, there are also a multifunctional building offices, changing rooms and services, a bar area for dining and relaxation, parking lots for users and equipped outdoor spaces.
Everything will obviously be designed to comply with the current urban planning, sports and energy regulations, ensuring full functionality and accessibility.
From the past to the future: the history of the plant
The sports complex of Avenue IV Mediterranean Games It was built in the late 60s by Cones, with the aim of promoting tennis activity in Naples and Southern Italy. After decades of use, the structure has entered a phase of abandonment and obsolescence, making a deep investigation necessary urban and functional redevelopment.
The new management project aims to give continuity to the sporting vocation of the area, starting from its reconversion and from the consistent land registry according to current regulations.
