Gabriel Jesus to Napoli, CorSport: Miracles needed. Manna is considering a January signing.

The dream Gabriel Jesus goes away

According to today's edition of Corriere dello Sport , Gabriel Jesus ' arrival at Napoli is now on the cards: a true miracle would be needed in the final days of the transfer window to close the deal. The Brazilian, out of Arsenal 's plans , remains awaiting a new destination.

Lang stays, the market freezes

Rafa Leão 's decision to join Galatasaray has closed the door on Noa Lang 's departure , who, according to Sky Sport, will remain at Napoli barring any unexpected developments. The Azzurri haven't found any teams willing to buy him outright, as requested by the club and player.

The Dutchman's permanence consequently also distances the Gabriel Jesus hypothesis : without the sale of Lang there would be no room for a new addition to the attack.

Plan B: The big move in January

Sporting director Giovanni Manna could thus freeze the squad until the winter transfer window. According to the newspaper, Plan B is a major offensive reinforcement in January , when Max Allegri 's needs will be clearer.

Meanwhile, according to Matteo Moretto , Gabriel Jesus has been proposed to Atletico Madrid , with initial discussions already underway. This leads to further distancing the Brazilian from Napoli, unless there are any sensational developments before the transfer window closes on September 1st.
