In the beautiful and famous Via Toledo of Naples, the works for the construction of the new headquarters of Gallerie d'Italia, are continuing, and the opening of the new facility is assumed to take place early next year.

Thus, the culture project of Intesa Sanpaolo will have in Palazzo Piacentini a new headquarters in Naples for its Gallerie d'Italia. This new headquarters will replace Zevallos Palace in Stigliano.

The realization of the project for the creation in Palazzo Piacentini, former headquarters of the Banco di Napoli, of the new headquarters of Galleries of Italy, was entrusted to the architect Michael DeLucchi.

On the fifth floor of the wonderful building where there is the panoramic terrace with a breathtaking view of the Gulf there will be a restaurant with very important Neapolitan chefs, which everyone can access, not just visitors to the Museum.

On the ground floor the exhibition itinerary which will also be expanded in such a way as to contain more works from the twentieth-century collections of Intesa San Paolo. The hall, also on the ground floor, will be used as hall for concerts and temporary exhibitions.

The triple height saloon e the Assembly Hall on the second floor they will house the various collections and various works, among these there will be the wonderful masterpiece of Caravaggio, the Martyrdom of Sant'Orsola.

The other two floors will be reserved for banking services, separate from the Museum.
