Ghostbusters, a double tonight on Sky Cinema Collection

This evening, Wednesday 2 September, on Sky Cinema Collection there is a double appointment with the Ghostbusters: at 21.15pm Ghostbusters II will be broadcast , followed at 23.10pm by the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot . An evening entirely dedicated to the franchise for lovers of the paranormal.

Ghostbusters II, at 9:15 pm

The 1989 film, directed by Ivan Reitman , brings back Bill Murray , Dan Aykroyd , Harold Ramis , and Ernie Hudson : five years after saving New York from the threat of Gozer, the Ghostbusters have been forced to dissolve their business due to lawsuits. A mysterious wave of negative energy that threatens the city once again puts them back in the game.

Next up is the reboot directed by Paul Feig with an all-female cast: Melissa McCarthy , Kristen Wiig , Kate McKinnon , and Leslie Jones as the new Ghostbusters. Erin Gilbert, a professor at Columbia University, is trying to secure tenure, but her past as a paranormal researcher comes back to haunt her just as a supernatural threat looms over New York.
