The New Orchestra Scarlatti will propose the great works of classical music for the 2015 New Year concert
Also this year the New Scarlatti Orchestra will delight us with a beautiful New Year's concert at the Mediterranean Theater of the Mostra d'Oltremare.
Il 1 January 2015in fact, the ensemble will perform a roundup of the most famous classical music works to celebrate the arrival of the new year together. we will be able to listen to the masterpieces of Strauss, Shostakovich, Piazzolla and many others.
The Orchestra will open the evening with a surprise, and then continue with a series of Shostakovich waltz. The lineup will continue with Strauss and the Czardas di Monti and, after a new interlude dedicated to the marches and polkas of Strauss, we will be completely immersed in Dance by Zorba and in Bizet's fantastic Carmen Overutre.
The evening will come to an end with the re-elaboration of an Arabic song in classical theme, followed by a slow tango that will involve the audience almost as if it were a collective prayer; immediately after it will enter the dynamism of a Piazzolla's tango and in the intoxicating speed of Tritsch Tratsch Polka. The conclusion will be dedicated to the very lively De Giosa and the Radetzky march, always present in the New Year celebrations.
The Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti, which for the fourth consecutive year has decided to celebrate the first day of the year with the public, wishing serenity for the next 364 through the performance of most beautiful classical works of musical history, will surely make us spend a wonderful evening with notes capable of reviving the spirit.
