Royal scandal: King Charles' great uncle accused of molesting a young boy
Let's get right to the point: King Charles's great-uncle, Lord Louis Mountbatten, was accused of having abused a boy in the 70s. These are very heavy accusations, declared by the same boy, now a man, who would have been molested by the member of the royal family.
We are talking about Arthur Smith, who renounced the right to anonymity, which he claimed to have been harassed twice by Lord Mountbatten at the Irish Institute of Kincore, Or a orphanage.
The orphanage of terror
It has only been 5 years since this institute was overwhelmed by un'inchiesta that brought out his dark side. Well 39 guys they claimed to have been abused and 4 people were reported and arrested.
Smyth and his words on the abuse suffered by the real
Now the abused little boy has 56 years and told his story. William McGrath, later nicknamed "The Beast of Kincora" I present a man of "high level", a "special friend". After he was taken to a room where there was also a shower and then taken to this mysterious stranger. Only after years, in 1979, the boy understood that his abuser was Lord Mountbatten, through advertisements about the man and his murder (he was murdered in that very year, so his face was everywhere).
Smythe said:
Do not forget who has abused you. Believe me. She freezes it, but she doesn't forget it. I've been silencing him for years. I felt embarrassed about what happened, but now I want peace.
The lawsuit is still pending and Smyth's attorney (Kevin Winters) has stated that for the first time someone he dared to accuse Lord Mountbatten and, of course, it was not an easy decision to be taken, especially in such a historical period where love for royalty is very high due to the disappearance of the queen. But the mental and physical abuse certainly couldn't wait.
The royal family spokesman declined to comment at the time.
