Gran Carnevale Maiorese 2025, magic and show on the Amalfi Coast

From 23 February at 9 March 2025, Maiori is transformed into a living stage set to welcome the 51st Grand Carnival of Maiori. An event that has been celebrating for over half a century art, culture and tradition, involving citizens and visitors in a unique festive atmosphere.

This year's edition bears the title “The Wonder”, an invitation to let yourself be carried away by creativity and imagination through shows, parades and performances with a strong visual impact. The Maiori seafront will become an open-air theater, where the art of papier-mâché will give shape to enchanted worlds and unforgettable characters.

The magic of papier-mâché: the allegorical floats are the protagonists

Beating heart of the Great Majorese Carnival are the parades of allegorical floats, made with extraordinary mastery by the local papier-mâché masters. This edition's creations will celebrate childhood dreams, fairy tales, magic and pop culture icons, transforming the city into a fairytale world.

Each float will be a true work of art in motion, accompanied by dance shows, musical performances and engaging choreographies. The active participation of the audience will make the experience even more immersive, giving moments of pure emotion.
