The Flavian Amphitheater in fact, boasts being the largest after those of Rome and Capua and represents an important testimony of engineering and ancient architecture. Born under the power of Vespasian, the theater stood at the center of daily city life, as a place of worship, work and entertainment, in whose arena the first martyrs of Christians took place.
