The Taste of the West Arrives in Irpinia with a western village

Guardia Lombardi, the enchanting town of Irpinia is about to dive into the past. The historic village is preparing to change its appearance into an authentic one western village ahead of the eventAncient Flavors – From the wild west to Irpinia“, foreseen by 16 18 to June. This summer celebration is a fascinating journey through the roots of the Irpinia community and the western world, a tribute at the same time to Sergio Leone, who has his family roots here.

The organization La Pro loco Candriano and Municipality of Torella dei Lombardi are the curators of the event, with the artistic direction of Roberto D'Agnese for Omast Events. D'Agnese emphasized the value of the event, emphasizing the importance of regaining post-pandemic normality through three days of quality, authenticity and entertainment.

The program

Friday

Time travel will begin on Friday June 16, with the inauguration of the stands at 19:00. The program sees numerous shows and moments of entertainment, including "Don't shoot the pianist” with Luis di Gennaro and the show of Street theatre with Matthijs Ronner and Robbert Liekens from Arteteca.

Saturday

Saturday will be punctuated by key moments of the western village, including a poker tournament at the saloon and children's shows. The performance by Roberto D'Agnese who meets Stefano Jacurti in an event entitled "Little talk, hands up“. Music will accompany the evening with artists of caliber.

Domenica

Sunday will end with one last chance to savor the western experience of “Ancient flavours“. Another street theater signed Arteteca, the award ceremony of the competition "The good, the ugly and Irpino” and lottery draw Ancient Flavors 2023.
