The San Carlo Theater reopens to the public with La Traviata and guided tours
The guided tours of the majestic San Carlo Theater in Naples and also the shows in attendance start again, the first will be La Traviata!
Everything is ready to San Carlo Theater of Naples that starting from 30 April 2021 will open its doors to welcome back visitors who can take part in the guided tours that will take place from Friday to Sunday with reservation required. This is great news, given the long period of closure that the Theater has had to face.
But this is not the only novelty, in fact starting from 14 May 2021 il the public will also be able to attend the shows in attendance that the Neapolitan Massimo has scheduled until July 31, 2021. It will be 33 shows and 19 events.
It will start with the first show that is La Traviata, and then continue with all the others planned until the end of July. The summer season is also scheduled with the Opera Region.
The program

First show of the season at 19:00 la Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi in semi-stage form, directed by Marina Bianchi and conducted by Karel Mark Chicon. The protagonist of the show in the role of Violetta Valery will be the soprano Ailyn Perez who will alternate with Aleksandra Kurzak. Then there will be the tenors Leonardo Caimi and Ivan Magrì and others.
The show will be repeated on the following days: 15, 18 and 22 May at 19:00, 16 and 23 May at 17:00, 20 May at 18:00.

At 19:00 the teacher Juraj Valcuha he will conduct the Orchestra of the San Carlo Theater in Naples in Johannes Brahms' symphony n.2 in D major op.73 and in Anton Webern's Langsamer Satz.
June 5 2021
At 19:00 the teacher Jose Luis Basso he will conduct Carl Orff's Carmina Burana.
June 6 2021
At 18:00 the recital by the violinist Renaud Capucon accompanied on the piano by Guillaume Bellom.
From the 25 to the 31 July
Scheduled The Elixir of Love by Gaetano Donizetti with the direction of Damiano Michieletto and the direction of Riccardo Frizza. Rosa Feola will play Adina, Xabier Anduaga as Nemorino and then again Gabriele Viviani who will play Belcore, Doctor Dulcamara will be played by Nicola Alaimo and finally Francesca Benitez as Giannetta.
