Five months after the fire that devastated the historic Teatro Sannazaro in Naples on February 17th, the first season of the reopening arrives. Thirty-two shows are scheduled, hosted in two different venues: the Mediterranean Theater at the Mostra d'Oltremare, starting from October 16th, and the Tiny Sannazaro in the historical center.

Leading the project is Lara Sansone, actress known to the general public for the role of Bice in A Place in the Sun, who has been the theater's director since 2019. Her words describe the meaning of this season: "After the fire tragedy, it was important not to stop; that was our primary goal. We needed to move forward and respond to those who lost their jobs, because in this tragedy, there's also this important aspect: so many artists and workers left behind in a moment of great fragility. Responding with a theater season that looks beyond the pain has been lifesaving for us."
