In particular, the mural was created on the facade of the Righi Technical Institute in the neighborhood Fuorigrotta of Naples and is accompanied by a text taken from Little birds birds of the great Pier Paolo Pasolini. It will be inaugurated on March 25, 2022.

The controversy over Dostoevsky and the work of Jorit

After the invasion of Ukraine by Putin's Russia, the University of Milan Bicocca he suspended and then subsequently asked to resume a course on Dostoevsky, asking however to integrate it with Ukrainian authors.

The decision did not go unnoticed and sparked a controversy, making Fyodor Dostoevsky a social icon of freedom of expression. And it is precisely from this controversy that it arises the work of Jorit.

In the latter, Dostoevsky he is represented as an adult, with the typical red stripes on his face, a sign that unites all the works of the street artist.

The purpose of the work, as stated by Jorit, is to demonstrate that "only with culture can we understand the causes of wars and build peaceAnd that therefore the elimination of a university course on the Russian writer is not in line with this thought.
