The appointment with the International Neapolitan Music Festival of the '700 is back with many concerts and free guided tours in the heart of Naples

From the 14 22 December 2018 the 19th edition of the International Festival of the Neapolitan Music of the '700 will be held in Naples, promoted by the Domenico Scarlatti association and with the participation of the Liceo Musicale Margherita di Savoia in Naples. The main venue of the scheduled events is the Domus Ars Culture Center, in the historic center of the city.

The festival celebrates the greatness of eighteenth-century Neapolitan music and provides seven concerts, four conferences, guided tours in the eighteenth-century music venues and three workshops. "The four ancient conservatories of Naples" is the theme of this edition and will take place inside the Domus Ars which will put show many excellences of Campane companies.

Ad inaugurate the festival, the 12 December at Domus Ars at 17,30, there will be the presentation of the monograph on the four city conservatories. Also provided for guided tours for free participation in the Domus Ars.

Sunday 16 December Quartetto Gagliano from Scarlatti to Beethoven, with Carlo Dumont violin, Sergio Carnevale violin, Gianfranco Conzo viola, Manuela Albano cello. Music by Ludwig van Beethoven.

Monday December 17 Rossini and Napoli Rossini - Wind Quartett, with Edoardo Ottaiano flute, Angelo Greco clarinet, Luca Martignano horn, Nicola Orabona bassoon. Music by Domenico Cimarosa and Gioacchino Rossini. On the occasion of the 2018 Rossinian Celebrations.

Wednesday, December 19, La Dirindina by Domenico Scarlatti, “Real Cappella di Napoli” Orchestra, conductor Ivano Caiazza.
