Afragola's hypercoop closed by strike: personal adrift

Afragola hypercoop closed for strike

Ipercoop di Afragola closed for a strike yesterday: the letters of dismissal to 250 employees are closer and closer

The situation atIpercoop Afragola is becoming more and more unsustainable. In the balance there are always 250 jobs of as many employees, who no longer know that fish take the too uncertain times that run.

If making a living is difficult for everyone at this time, think about who might receive a letter from at any moment dismissal in the trunk, and see the hopes of a life snatched away. This is why the staff decided to strike yesterday, Sunday 12 October 2013, albeit in a peaceful way.

Employees, those under an old contract not obliged to work on overtime, have preferred to stay home in the name of protest and cohesion. The result? Many units have failed, bringing the hypermarket to its knees since lunchtime.

In the meantime, a group of a hundred employees of the Afragola Hypercoopo decided to take matters into their own hands, advancing a proposal in writing to Marco Lami, president of Unicoop. The letter reads the textual words: "Cut the wages temporarily, but save our seats".

You all know what this can mean. To reach certain compromises, the situation must be very serious. The sending of the letters of dismissal is becoming more and more concrete.
