The nineteenth edition of the review Ischia Global Film Festival will take place from Sunday 18th to Sunday 25th July 2021.
The review was born in 2002 thanks to Pascal Vicedomini and over the years it has achieved such great success that it has become the most important summer event dedicated to international and non-international cinema. It will be a special week between Fr.big screen projections, concerts, forums, exhibitions and tributes to the artists of the year.
The 2021 edition will take place both online and face-to-face and will be divided into two main sections.
The sections of the Ischia Global Film Festival
The first section of the 19th edition of the Ischia Film Festival will be called W the cinema in summer and will propose to guests a series of national feature films, documentaries, short films presented in preview or distributed from 1 September 2020 to 31 June 2021.
The second section will instead be called Window to the world and will present films directed by international directors to the public. Special guests of this edition will be Jack and Danny sons of the famous director John Houston.
Furthermore, the Luchino Visconti award to the Israeli maestro Amos Gitai, one of the best known and most famous directors in the country.
