From Thursday 15 September 2022 will begin the fifteen days of pre-exercise in view of the activation of the electronic access control gate to the ZTL of Piazza Dante in Naples.
There is still no definitive activation date, considering that it should have been 1 October 2022, but the Councilors with powers of the "Municipal Police and Legality", "Tourism and Productive Activities" and "Infrastructure, Mobility and Civil Protection ”, collecting the requests received by the reference Municipalities, they have prepared a additional 40-day pre-exercise period for electronic gates starting from 30 September.
The perimeter of the ZTL
The perimeter of the ZTL which will be definitively activated starting from 1 October 2022, will include the following avenues:
- Corso Vittorio Emanuele (passable)
- Via Montemiletto (passable)
- Ascent Tarsia (passable)
- Via Cotugno
- Piazza Gesù and Maria (passable)
- Via FS Correra (passable)
- Brombeis Street
- Section from via FS Correra and via Avvocata (passable)
- Via Avvocata (passable)
- Via Pesina
- Section between via Avvocata and piazza Dante
- Piazza Dante
- Via Toledo
- Section between piazza Dante and via dei Pellegrini
- Via dei Pellegrini (passable)
- Via Giovanni Ninni (passable)
- Piazza Montesanto
- Via Montesanto.
The gates instead they will be active in the following streets:
- Piazza Gesù and Maria
- via Domenico Soriano (Urban Pedestrian Area)
- via Toledo height via dei Pellegrini towards via Pessina
- Piazza Dante in the direction of Toledo
An electronic gate is also located in Via Brombeis, the road is accessible only by cars and motorbikes of residents and domiciles and is inside the “Tarsia-Pignasecca-Dante” ZTL.
The latter it is active every day from 09:00 to 18:00 and authorized vehicles will be able to access and display the appropriate badge.
Who can request the cash on delivery
The following categories can request the issuance of the Cash on Delivery Mark:
- Residents' vehicles;
- vehicles for residents;
- vehicles of non-residents, holders of parking spaces off the road;
- vehicles for freight transport: freight transport for services inside the ZTL (loading and unloading allowed from 8.00 to 10.00 and from 14.00 to 16.00);
- vehicles in the name of companies and companies providing public services;
- hotel client vehicles;
- vehicles of customers of the garages;
- vehicles of customers of car repair shops;
- vehicles with a doctor on board who are obliged to visit patients residing within the LTZ;
- vehicles for functions of public interest for particular needs that require the use of a vehicle;
- vehicles transporting subjects with serious illnesses, which require the completion of systematic therapeutic treatments, to go to medical / paramedical centers within the ZTL.
Once the request has been sent, a commission will evaluate the application which will decide whether to release authorization which must then always be exposed and clearly visible from the outside.
