Jazz under the stars at the Capodimonte Astronomical Observatory: an evening between stars and music
At the Capodimonte Astronomical Observatory, Friday May 17, 2024 the event will take place at 21 pm Jazz under the stars, with the unmissable concert of Neighborhoods Jazz New Quartet. The event is organized in collaboration with the Neapolitan section ofNational Institute of Astrophysics and will allow all guests to spend an evening full of culture and music.
This is a perfect combination that the band has consistently promoted for several years. The band formed by the guitarist Mario Romano, Alessandro De Carolis to the flutes, Alberto Santaniello on rhythm guitar and Dario Franco on bass, he will perform in a real musical journey that will span the three albums, namely "E streets lead to the sea", "The 4 days of Naples" and "La città parallela".
Telescope observations
Not only music, but also science with specials observations to the telescopes which will allow you to admire the beauties of sky. We will be there to help you Capodimonte astronomers in collaboration with the Neapolitan Amateur Astronomers Union.
