Jazz under the stars at the Capodimonte Astronomical Observatory: an evening between stars and music

At the Capodimonte Astronomical Observatory, the Jazz Under the Stars event will take place on Friday, May 17, 2024 , at 21:00 PM , with an unmissable concert by the Quartieri Jazz New Quartet . The event is organized in collaboration with the Naples branch of the National Institute for Astrophysics and will offer all guests an evening of culture and music.

A perfect combination, the latter, which the band has consistently promoted for several years. The band, consisting of guitarist Mario Romano , Alessandro De Carolis on flute, Alberto Santaniello on rhythm guitar, and Dario Franco on bass, will perform a true musical journey spanning their three albums: "E strade ca portare a Mare," "Le 4 giornate di Napoli," and "La città parallela."

Telescope observations

Not just music, but also science, with special telescope observations that will allow you to admire the beauty of the celestial vault . Astronomers from Capodimonte will be there to help, in collaboration with the Neapolitan Amateur Astronomers Union.
