Murals for Massimo Troisi in San Giorgio a Cremano

Street artist Jorit will paint a mural dedicated to Massimo Troisi on the sports hall of San Giorgio a Cremano

The Italian street artist Jorit Agoch, author of the murals of the little girl in Ponticelli, of the San Gennaro worker at Forcella, this time he painted Massimo Troisi on a facade of the sports hall in San Giorgio a Cremano. The mural was inaugurated on February 19, 2017 on the occasion of the actor's XNUMXth anniversary.

The artist made not only the face of Massimo Troisi but also three of the main scenes of the most famous films of the late Neapolitan actor.

The first image is that of the miracle, a scene taken from the discussion on the difference between the easy miracle and the difficult miracle between Lello (Lello Arena) and Gaetano (Massimo Troisi) in "I start again from three ".

The second is taken from "We just have to cry" and it is the hilarious scene of the janitor Mario (Massimo Troisi) who dictates a letter to the teacher Saverio to ask for clemency from Savonarola, the influential preaching friar in theocratic Florence of the time.

The last scene is from the film "The postman": the passionate and emotional kiss between Mario (Massimo Troisi) and Beatrice (Mariagrazia Cucinotta). A kiss that will end the career and life of the unforgettable actor.

The mastery of Jorit lies in finding, through a meticulous pictorial investigation, humanity that lies behind the character. It uses spray paint that offers a strong visual impact and makes the artistic representation almost real.

A great work of artistic value but also with a clear symbolic meaning of homage to the late actor and rebirth for the building that takes over the activities after a long period of detention.
