Knorr recalls Milanese risotto due to possible foreign bodies
Il Ministry of Health has issued a recall notice by Knorr of five batches of Milanese risotto in 175-gram bags. The report was also reported by Conad supermarkets, which posted a notice to customers.
The decision comes after internal checks which highlighted the possible presence of plastic and metal fragments inside some packages, which is why the precautionary measure to protect consumers has been activated.
Affected lots
The recall concerns the product only Knorr Milanese Risotto 175 g (EAN 8710522984055) belonging to the lots:

- L5293AO810
- L5294AO810
- L5295AO810
- L5296AO810
All with TMC 01/2027.
According to the company, a manufacturing process anomaly may have caused the presence of foreign bodies. Over 90% of the affected packages have already been withheld from large-scale retail outlets, while some may still be available on shelves, making it necessary to notify the end consumer.
Production clarifications
Knorr clarifies that the origin of the non-compliance is linked to a factory specialized in the production of the mixture used for risotto. The assembly and packaging of the finished product took place in the Sanguinetto (VR) plant, in Via Roma 23No other companies were reported to be involved in the anomaly.
Consumer information
Whoever bought the Knorr Milanese Risotto 175g belonging to the lots indicated is invited to do not consume it and return it to the point of sale for replacement or refund. A notice will be displayed in the affected stores with an image of the product and the affected batch numbers.
The company confirms that all other Knorr products are safe and that collaboration with health authorities is ongoing according to the procedures established by the food safety alert system.
