Konosfoglia in Naples, the sfogliatella arrives in an ice-cream version

For the 2017 summer in Naples Konosfoglia was created, the Neapolitan sfogliatella in an ice cream version!

A delicious gastronomic novelty will characterize the summer in Naples: the Konosfoglia, a cone with the shape and dough of the typical Neapolitan curly sfogliatella.

This inviting dessert comes from an idea by Antonio Ferrieri and can only be tasted in the Pastry Hearts of Sfogliatella in Piazza Garibaldi.

You can choose between different variations of this new product, depending on the chosen creams.

Taste of Konosfoglia

The Konosfoglia is a crunchy one sfogliatella cone that is stuffed with fresh and genuine sfogliatella ice cream, to garnish with five types of creams: pistachio, white chocolate, gianduia, hazelnut, coconut.
The final touch will be 10 types of grains, including hazelnuts, almonds and coconut. With the creation of this original product in summer version, Ferrieri wanted to combine the Neapolitan confectionery tradition with the art of ice cream.

We remember two other very popular variations of this pastry: the Vesuviella, the sfogliatella in the shape of Vesuvio, and the Bourbon, the sfogliatella with a filling of ricotta and babà. The Cuori di Sfogliatella brand, in fact, has patented products, both savory and sweet, for 30 years, which are an evolution of the classic Neapolitan sfogliatella, loved all over the world.
