The Headmistress, filmed in Naples. Traffic device in San Giovanni a Teduccio
For three days in May, in San Giovanni a Teduccio turns into a film set. Filming of the new RAI series “The Headmistress”, starring Luisa Ranieri, require a temporary change to the traffic flow in Lieto municipal road, artery that connects via Taverna del Ferro within June 2nd Avenue. The measure was adopted by the Municipality of Naples to ensure that activities can be carried out in conditions of maximum safety, without compromising local traffic.
When the ban comes into force and where
To allow the filming of the fiction, inspired by the headmistress Eugenia Carfora of the Morano Institute in Caivano, the following was ordered:
- The transit ban e
- Parking ban with forced removal su both sides of Lieto municipal road
on the following days and times:
- Monday May 12 2025 from 14: 30 to 22: 30
- Friday May 16 2025 from 9: 00 to 17: 00
- Saturday May 17 2025 from 8: 00 to 14: 00
Recommended alternative routes
During the indicated time slots, vehicles normally in transit on Viale Due Giugno will be able to reach Corso San Giovanni a Teduccio by travelling along:
- Parish Street
- Sacco and Vanzetti Street
- Admiral Aubry Street
This path will also be valid in reverse.
Who can move
The following are exceptions to the ban:
- Residents
- Rescue and emergency vehicles
- Law enforcement
- Vehicles heading to schools in the area
Il City of Naples requested that the signage be installed with at least 48 hours in advance to properly inform the citizens. The local police will be in charge of surveillance and may take further measures if necessary.
