The Duomo Station in Naples open all day: timetables
Good news for the Duomo station of the metro line 1 of Naples, which has been open to the public a few weeks ago. In fact, after several days of opening for only half a day, from Saturday 4 September 2021 it will be open all day.
We remind you that the Duomo station is part of line 1, as mentioned, which connects Piscinola to Piazza Garibaldi and is the penultimate stop just before Piazza Garibaldi.
The hours of service
On Saturday the qualification activities of the machine personnel will end and therefore it will be possible to leave at full capacity from 6.00 until the end of the service. The timetables of line 1 are as follows:
- first and last run from Garibaldi: 6.20 and 23.02
- first and last run from Piscinola: 6.00 and 22.30
The station designed by Massimiliano Fuksas
The station was designed by the Italian architect Massimiliano Fuksas and inside there will also be a museum which will showcase the archaeological finds found during the many years of excavations, including a temple from the XNUMXst century AD, a Hellenistic arcade from the Flavian age and a gymnasium running track.
Together with the other art stations in Naples, it will be one of the most beautiful in the world, but the works to finally complete it will last a few more years.
