The Sundays of Oil 2024 in Cerreto Sannita, celebration of extra virgin olive oil and local traditions

La Workers' Mutual Aid Society and the Municipality of Cerreto Sannita (BN) invite you to participate in Oil Sundays, who return with the last autumn dates on 3, 10 and 17 November 2024. This event is a special occasion to celebrate theextra virgin olive oil produced in the Cerreto area, immersing yourself in local traditions through tastings, crafts and guided tours.

An event to celebrate the oil and the culture of the territory

The Sundays of Oil are events that offer visitors the opportunity to learn about the production process of extra virgin olive oil, while exploring the rich history and traditions of Cerreto SannitaThe event will be held on the following dates:

• Sunday November 3 2024
• Sunday November 10 2024
• Sunday November 17 2024

During these days, it will be possible to visit theold headquarters in Via Cavallotti, open from 10: 00 to 12: 00, where a will be held art and craft exhibition focused on painting, on useful recycling Cerreto ceramics. Every Sunday it will also be possible to participate in guided tours of the oil mills, to discover the secrets of olive pressing and appreciate the excellence of local products.

Extraordinary openings and cultural itineraries

Le Oil Sundays will also offer unique opportunities for visits, thanks to the extraordinary openings of some historical sites of Cerreto Sannita:

• Sunday 3rd and 10th November: opening of theex Mastroianni Wool Mill, Already Church of Sant'Onofrio.
• Sunday November 17: opening of the Churches of San Gennaro e San Rocco.

These places, usually not accessible to the public, represent an unmissable opportunity to delve deeper into the cultural and religious history of the village, immersing yourself in a context rich in charm and tradition.
