The Luci di artista returns to Salerno 2017 / 2018 with the Ferris wheel, the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition, the illuminations, the markets and the cribs of sand!
Will be held from 11 November 2017 to 21 January 2018 the twelfth edition of Luci D'Artista in Salerno, even if the start and end dates of this long-awaited event are not yet known. The inauguration will take place on 11 November at 17.00.
For this year they have been confirmed the Ferris wheel and the markets and, among the news, there will be the suggestive exhibition on Leonardo Da Vinci. The space of the Villa Comunale will be dedicated to the little ones, which will be decorated with lights that will recall the fairy tale characters and visitors can cross it with a train with a light locomotive.
On the promenade and in other areas will be set up markets of Christmas, i cribs of sand and there will be many installations, such as the Christmas tree, the sled and the thematic lights in squares and streets of the center.
Surely we will be stupid plays of light and waterfalls, planets, dragons and much more that will be realized with the beautiful illuminations.

The city will be enriched by the fantastic lights that will be divided into 4 main themes in various places: Mito, Dream, Time e Christmas. For more information on the characters and the stories told, you can use them QrCode scattered on the streets.

Ferris wheel
11 November 2017 - 21 January 2018
Back again this year the big Ferris wheel, but this time it will be the highest in Europe with about 60 meters and will be located in the subway of the Concordia. Visitors can admire the artist lights from above and each ticket will allow five laps for a total duration of 10 minutes.
Exhibition of Leonardo Da Vinci
November 1, 2017 - February 28, 2018
At Palazzo Fruscione, there will be an exhibition dedicated to the life, works and machines of Leonardo Da Vinci. The exhibition is titled "Leonardo da Vinci - the Genius of Good", Is sponsored by the Municipal Administration of Salerno and will allow admire and touch different machines built by Maestro Paolucci on original models of Leonardo: from the flying machine to the bicycle. Professional actors in period costume they will accompany the visitors in the exhibition illustrating the machines and their operation and explaining the works that will be contextually equipped with QRcode that will return information as a source, time and location. They will be available in multiple languages.
