Battipaglia-Sapri line, train circulation suspended from 22 July

Trenitalia train

From 22 to 26 July, rail traffic on the Battipaglia-Sapri line will be suspended. The suspension, from 22pm on Monday 00nd July to 22am on Friday 6th July, is necessary to remove the wagons derailed following the derailment on 9 July and complete the infrastructure restoration work, after the findings of the competent authorities.

  • Battipaglia
  • Vallo della Lucania
  • Sapri

Impacts on high-speed, intercity and regional travel

The changes to the circulation program of high-speed, intercity and regional trains will entail:

  • increase of travel times
  • limitations on some routes
  • cancellations of some races

We therefore recommend that you always check the updated timetables and any changes before traveling and always consider a significant delay (more than an hour) on your travels, especially if you have connections.
