From 1 to 4 August 2026 the village of Praiano, on the Amalfi Coast, lights up with the traditional Luminaria of San Domenico, one of the most evocative and ancient festivals in the province of Salerno. The event dates back to the arrival of the Dominican friars in the 17th century and takes place every year at the convent of Santa Maria a Castro, where the saint is venerated.

For four evenings, the convent and village are illuminated by thousands of artistic lights, creating a magical atmosphere that attracts visitors from all over Campania.
