Naples International Marathon: from Pozzuoli to Piazza del Plebiscito

The Naples International Marathon will take place in February between Pozzuoli and Naples and also includes a Half Marathon and a Relay race
In just under a month, between Naples and Pozzuoli, 'A Maraton', the International Marathon of Naples which will involve both municipalities.
In fact, the February 16, 2014, hundreds of athletes will take part in what is already proving a successful event. A path of 42,195km that starts from Pozzuoli and reaches Piazza del Plebiscito, for which there are already 500 members, of which one hundred foreigners.
This confirms the excellent promotion and twinning work carried out by the organizers. Promotion that has ensured that the hundred foreign athletes come from at least 15 countries both European, including Poland, France, Spain, Great Britain, Germany, Holland, Austria, Norway, Greece, Finland and Lithuania, and overseas such as the United States, Japan, Brazil, Morocco.
The twinning, however, concerns the runners who will arrive from Lombardia, in a fairly high number, precisely following the collaboration started with the Milan International Marathon.
For what concerns the modalities, as usually happens for marathons also in this case the race will be divided into two parts: a real marathon and a half marathon. The first, as mentioned, will cover a route of over 42 km and will start from Pozzuoli - Lake Lucrino and then arrive in Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples and athletes aged 20 and over will be able to participate.

Recall that from January 31 to 2 February will also be held the Mostra d'Oltremare Half Marathon, a sporting event that includes a half marathon, a derby race and the Expo Villaggio della Salute.
