Marathon Walk of Life in Naples on 4 May 2014

Also this year the marathon organized by Telethon, Walk of Life, will take place on the Naples seafront starting from Piazza del Plebiscito

The city of Naples will host a new one marathon, after that game from Mostra d'Oltremare and the international one that also involved the municipality of Pozzuoli, but this time he will do it for a good cause.

La Walk of Life 2014in fact, it was organized by Telethon and will involve all of Italy. It will take place from 27 April to 8 June and in Naples the appointment is scheduled for Sunday 4st May. The aim is to collect as much funding as possible for scientific research on genetic diseases.

Like theappointment last year, the marathon will consist of aat competitive running race of 10 km and in one race and non-competitive walk of 2 and 5 km. The departure is scheduled from Piazza del Plebiscito to continue towards the Lungomare and reach Viale Dohrn. From that point, you will go back towards Piazza del Plebiscito (the complete itinerary is at the end of the article).

As in the past, also for this edition the delivery of a parcel a all runners, package that will be opened one hour before the start. Inside you will find numerous objects, including the Walk of Life official T-shirt and backpack, a 10 € voucher to travel on Italo trains, a 2 × 1 ticket valid on the cinemas of the Stella Film circuit in Naples, a discount coupon to refuel at TotalErg, an Auchan discount coupon, a coupon for Città della Scienza.

The 4 may, of course, also be set up a Telethon village which will be opened from May 3, from 9 to 19, to allow the following activities to be carried out animation and entertainment:

• Educational workshops organized by Città della Scienza (interactive workshops, practical tests, literature workshops);
• Games and traditional sports organized by the FIGE;
• Performance of judo with the boys of the Star Judo Club Napoli of the maestro Gianni Maddaloni;
• Subbuteo activity with the Associazione CCT Eagles Napoli;
• Zumba lessons;
• Shooting activities;
• Performances of athletics, table tennis, dances and historical fights
