On the occasion of the International Day against Violence against Women, Naples organizes March Woman 2020: numerous events and initiatives are scheduled!
In compliance with the decree against the Coronavirus emergency, the events of the March Woman review are canceled.
On March 8 of each year, the International women's rights day, or Women's Day, and just on the occasion of this holiday, the City of Naples has organized an interesting review entitled "March Woman 2020 - Women's gaze".
It is a manifestation full of events, which saw the adhesion of various associations, organizations and artists with about 100 initiatives that will be held by Saturday 7 March to Saturday 4 April 2020. The event aims to fully immerse oneself in the female way of interpreting reality, that vision of the world and of the city as an ecosystem.

They will take turns photographic, pictorial exhibitions, sporting events, book presentations, wellness and health courses, activities carried out by migrant women or aimed at them, theatrical performances performed by various companies including those of women from mental health centers, assemblies of women of the participated companies of the Municipality of Naples (transport and environmental services) on the issues of equal opportunities and much more.
They will also take place two very exciting commemorations: the first with the affixing of a plaque dedicated to migrant women who died in the Mediterranean on the red bench on the seafront of San Giovanni and the second with the delivery, to the President of the Focolare Movement, of a plaque in memory of Chiara Lubich, a woman of peace and dialogue.
