In Procida, Italian Capital of Culture 2022, the special cultural event is renewed for the fourth year MARethicswhich will last from 10 to 12 September 2021 and will be part of # VersoProcida2022.
Three days will be dedicated to sport and culture "to rethink man starting from the sea" and president of the jury, as in previous years, will be the Turin writer Alessandro Baricco, instead there will be in the jury Daria Bignardi, Valeria Parrella, Elisabetta Montaldo, Claudius Fogu and Giò Giò Franchini.
For this new edition the prize will be awarded to Galata Museum of Genoa, chosen by the jury for the diversity of the finds it offers, for the thematic itineraries, for the link with the territory and much more.

At 19:30 pm in Piazza Guarracino in the locality of Terra Murata theHomeric Herm, the work of the MANN, with a dialogue between Alessandro Baricco and Paolo Giulierini, the director of the Museum. To follow readings from the Book Iliad, Homer di Baricco, with the author and Alessandra Sacchi.
11 Settembre
At 19:30 pm at Piazza Guarracino in Terra Murata the assignment of the MARetica Prize with Daria Bignardi. Illustration of the other works in competition: The monsters of the sea by Chloe Aridijs, Islands by Francis Gavin, the wise man The salty sea by Roberta Morosini, Grace's turn by William Wall and the documentary My Octopus Teacher. Following the musical performance of the duo Fede 'n Marlene.
Following Alessandro Baricco will announce the winner of the MARetica prize which will be collected by Pierangelo Campodonico, or the director of Galata Museo del Mare. Subsequently Valeria Parrella will dialogue with Pierangelo Camponico on the museum narratives of the sea. Finally, the performance of Dario Sanson and Ennio Frongillo.
12 Settembre
From 09:00 am coastal rowing sports competitions with historical crossing from the Roman port of Miseno to the Mycenaean port of Vivara. From 10:00 to 13:00 sailing and rowing competitions along the Chiaiolella sea. 14 pm awards ceremony at the Agave restaurant.
At 18:00 at the Yachting of Chiaiolella presentation of the works designed for the workshop Procida Teens Green Lab.
