March Donna 2025 in Naples with events, exhibitions and shows for a month of celebrations

The city of Naples dedicates the entire month of March to a rich program of events for International Women's Day, with cultural, artistic and social initiatives designed to enhance the female role and promote gender equality. The event, entitled “Discovering yourself”, is divided into exhibitions, debates, theatrical performances, concerts, workshops and meetings in schools, with the aim of stimulating reflection on women's achievements and the challenges still to be faced.

The initiative is promoted by City of Naples with the support of numerous associations, third sector bodies and local institutionsThe presentation of the program saw the participation of the mayor Gaetano Manfrediand Deputy Mayor Laura Lieto,Councilor for Equal Opportunities Emanuela Ferrante,Councilor for Tourism Teresa Armato and other representatives of the city institutions.

Il March Women's Program 2025 extends from 8 31 to March, with appointments in various locations in the city, including the Maschio Angioino, Palazzo San Giacomo, the Viviani Park and the Sacristy of San Severo al Pendino.

A message of inclusion and awareness

March Women 2025 is not just a celebration, but an opportunity to address crucial issues such as the gender gap, violence against women, the right to work and women's empowerment. The goal is to involve not only women, but also men, so that change occurs through a shared culture of respect and equality.

THECouncilor for Equal Opportunities Emanuela Ferrante stressed the importance of create a society where equality is concrete and not just formal, reiterating that in our country women continue to suffer wage gaps and discrimination at work.

Furthermore, the mayor Gaetano Manfredi he expressed the hope for a more inclusive policy, capable of reconciling everyone's interests: “There can be no unilateral vision in a complex and global world”.
