For his first participation in the COMICON of Naples, Max Pezzali chooses a grand debut: on Thursday 1st May 2025 he will meet the public to present his new comic book, an original project that combines music, narration and illustration. The appointment is set for 14:00 pm at the Auditorium of the Teatro Mediterraneo, followed by Comicon Point, where it will be possible to participate in a special signing session. A unique opportunity for fans, who will be able to exclusively purchase a white copy of the volume and receive it autographed by Pezzali himself.

What is Max Pezzali's comic book about?

The new comic is the fourth chapter of the “Max Forever” series, an editorial project that visually reinterprets the imagery evoked by Max Pezzali’s most iconic songs. After the volumes “All Stars”, “Discoteche Abbandonate” and “Max Forever Grand Prix”, this new release is enriched with stories and characters inspired by the artist’s musical universe, mixing generational emotions, pop mythology and 90s quotes. A comic book journey through friendships, scooters, summer melancholies and those provincial atmospheres that have always been Pezzali’s trademark.

Max Pezzali and Roberto Recchioni: a collectible collaboration

The comic is written and drawn by Roberto Recchioni, one of the most important Italian cartoonists and screenwriters, author of cult series such as “Orfani” and editorial director of “Dylan Dog”. The collaboration between Pezzali and Recchioni was born from a shared passion for pop culture, video games, rock and urban imagery that both have been telling for years in their respective fields. Their synergy has given life to a work that is not only a tribute to music, but a real visual story designed to thrill old and new fans.
