Teatro Mercadante: it goes on stage with the Cyrano de bergerac

Il Mercadante Theater of Naples presents an unmissable staging of the famous Cyrano de bergerac, the 1897 play by Edmond Rostand.

Lo spettacolo will be on stage from 1 to 12 March and will be directed and adapted by Arturo Cirillo, who will also be the main performer of the role of Cyrano.

The show, produced by the Naples Theater - National Theater, Marche Theater, Genoa National Theater, Emilia Romagna Foundation Theater - National Theater, is amodern and musical interpretation of the French classic. With top hats, feathers and sequins, Arturo Cirillo's Cyrano De Bergerac is an enchanting, visionary and poetic performance experience.

Cyril's Cyrano has already been accepted, in last year's edition, with great success with audiences and critics. The representation will be supported by a cast of the highest level, which will include Rosario Giglio, Francesco Petruzzelli, Valentina Picello, Giulia Trippetta and Giacomo Vigentini, who will take care of covering more roles and characters.

The show is characterized by the presence of sets designed by Dario Gessati, costumes made by Gianluca Falaschi and lights curated by Paolo Manti. The soundtrack will consist of Federico Odlingwhich he will accomplish both original music and reworkings.
