Christmas Markets at Pietrarsa Museum 2024, times, dates and entrance

The magic of Christmas comes to life at National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa, With the 6th edition of the Christmas Markets, open until 6 January 2025. The museum's historic spaces are transformed into a charming Christmas village, perfect for adults and children, where tradition blends with a fairytale atmosphere.

What the markets offer

Among the features decorated and illuminated wooden houses, visitors will find:

• Unique handcrafted products: An exclusive selection of creations perfect for special gifts.
• Campania's food and wine excellences: Typical local dishes and products, to be enjoyed in the dedicated food area.

Theme 2024: The Wizard of Oz

This year's edition is inspired by the famous tale of The Wizard of Oz, giving visitors a journey between dream and fantasy. The main characters, such as Dorothy, Lion,Tin man and Scarecrow, will come to life through themed scenography and decorations.

In addition to crafts and food, the program includes:

• Theatrical and musical performances
• Performance by street artists
• Gospel ChoirsThe evenings will be enriched by Christmas carols performed live.

Activities for children

The little ones will be able to immerse themselves completely in the Christmas atmosphere thanks to:

• Postal letter: A space dedicated to writing letters to Santa Claus.
• Santa's House: A magical place to meet Santa Claus and take part in games and educational activities.

Guided tours and special promotions

During weekends and holidays, the museum offers guided tours to discover the treasures of the National Railway Museum. Furthermore, those who arrive with the Pietrarsa Express, the historic train, will be able to benefit from special discounts on the entrance ticket:
