There will be no nighttime extension of the 1 line and Funicolari to Naples, no means until late on weekends.
A few days ago we announced the news on the start of the night extension of the subway line 1 and Naples Funiculars, but unfortunately we have to rectify the information because the company ANM has communicated that this extension will not be carried out starting from 1 December 2018.
At this point we do not know if it will start in the coming weekends or if it will never happen because the company has stated that there is no staff availability when making the extension.
The news had been given by the mayor of Naples Luigi De Magistris a few days ago and the ANM had supported the initiative, despite the opinion of the unions. From that moment, the Funiculars and the metro have suffered daily service suspensions due to the lack of presence of head offices due to illness.
A situation that is bringing an entire city to its knees, preventing citizens from moving around peacefully.
