The Naples Metro Line 1 changes its timetable for four days: from Monday 5 to Thursday 8 October 2026, ANM is bringing forward the last journeys to allow for on-line inspection and maintenance activities and material testing.

The last departures will be from Piscinola at 20:55 PM and from Centro Direzionale at 21:30 PM . After those times, the line will not run any further services, so those using the metro in the evening should plan an alternative.

What changes from October 5th to 8th

The advance applies to both termini and every evening of the indicated week, from Monday, October 5th to Thursday, October 8th . The affected time slot is the evening, when the service normally continues until late.

Anyone returning from the city center after dinner, work, or a show should therefore keep in mind that the last train leaves much earlier than usual. It's best to arrive at the platform a few minutes early and avoid counting on the last train.

From Piscinola and from the Business Center

The measure affects the two ends of the line: Piscinola , the northern terminus, and Centro Direzionale , the section that serves the business area and the Naples Centro Direzionale station.

The last departures indicated by ANM are 20:55 PM from Piscinola and 21:30 PM from Centro Direzionale . Service will resume regularly with the usual schedule on the following days, unless further changes are announced by the company.

Why the service stops early

The reason given by ANM is technical: line inspections and maintenance, and material testing . These activities require interruptions to passenger service and are therefore concentrated in a time slot with lower traffic, such as the evening hours.

This is not the first change of the period: Line 1 has already closed early on other days in September, such as 21 September 2026 , and in September it had reopened the entire section towards Piscinola and Colli Aminei after the summer works.

Where to find updates

ANM invites you to follow the official channels for any further changes. The contact center answers the toll-free number 800 639525 , while updates are published on the Facebook and X @anmnapoli profiles , active Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 20 pm.

To plan your travel during the week, you can also consult the ANM timetable for the metro, buses and funiculars , which is useful for finding surface alternatives during the hours when the metro is closed.
