Metrò del Mare to connect Naples, Cilento and cities in northern Italy

The Metrò del Mare will start in July 2016 and will connect the ports between Naples, Cilento and the Amalfi coast by sea!

Thanks to the Blu Club project, from 1 July to 31 August 2016, the Metro of the sea, managed by the Alicost shipping company, which operates the direct connection lines by sea between Naples and Salerno and the Cilento and between the Cilento and the Amalfi coast.

I nine ports are connected: Naples Beverello, Capri, Positano, San Marco, Acciaroli, Marina of Casal Velino, Palinuro, Marina di Camerota and Sapri. The routes are four and the cost of the ticket varies depending on the distance to be covered.

There are many advantages: from reducing road traffic to travel costs, from travel times to the convenience of transport. Moreover, during the journey you can enjoy the naturalistic beauty of the Cilento and Amalfi coast.

The routes

1 Line: Salerno - Costa del Cilento
Connections from Salerno to Agropoli, San Marco, Acciaroli, Casal Velino, Pisciotta, Palinuro Camerota. Line active on Saturdays and Sundays.

Line 2: Cilento - Amalfi Coast
Connections from Salerno to Agropoli, San Marco, Amalfi, Positano, (connecting to Capri). Line active from Monday to Friday.

3 / A Line: Cilento (Sapri-Capri-Naples) via Camerota
A / R connections from Sapri to Camerota, Pisciotta, Casal Velino, Capri and Naples. Line active on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Line 3 / B: Cilento (Sapri - Capri - Naples) via Acciaroli
A / R connections from Sapri to Palinuro, Acciaroli, San Marco, Capri and Naples. Line active on Monday and Friday.
