The Metrò del Mare for summer 2017 will connect Naples, Cilento and Amalfi. New line for the Flegrean and Vesuvian Archaeological Area!
Also for thesummer 2017 in Campania returns the Metrò del Mare and to announce it was the President of the Region Vincenzo De Luca during a conference on tourist transport and will be in service from 1 July to 31 August.
The success achieved last year has meant that the Metrò del Mare can again bring thousands of tourists between Naples, Capri, Salerno, the Cilento coast, the Amalfi Coast and Sapri. There is also an important novelty because the offer is enriched by reaching theFlegrea and Vesuviana Archaeological Area.
In addition, special reception facilities will be set up for travelers and new ticket offices.

Metrò del Mare lines
- 1 Line: Salerno-Costa del Cilento. Activate Saturday and Sunday
- 2 Line: Cilento - Amalfi Coast. Activate from Monday to Friday
- 3 Line: Sapri - Capri - Naples
- 3 / A active Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
- 3 / B active Monday and Friday
- 4 Line: Vesuvian Flegrea Archaeological Area. Activate from Tuesday to Friday
Pricing
Prices will not change much from last year, but there will be some adjustments. At the moment the following ticket prices have been announced:
- free for children up to 3 years
- 3 euro for children up to 12 years

The service is added to the Frecciarossa train for Cilento.
