Metro Line 1, WiFi spotted in some stations. Here we are?

For years, every promise to introduce the WiFi of Subway 1 Line of Naples has been disregarded, leading many of us to stop believing in concrete improvements on this front. After the announcement of 2023, which promised activation of the service by February 2024, we realized that the WiFi issue it just seemed like a mirage ed we stopped giving credence to other ads, among other things they were also disregarded.
Now, however, it seems that something is finally changing. Strangely, there have been no announcements yet. Maybe the municipal administration doesn't even know.
The Toledo, Museo, Salvator Rosa and Materdei stations with WiFi: a first step towards connectivity?
In the last 2 days we have had multiple reports: in the stations of Toledo, Museum, Salvator Rosa e Materdei was spotted a free WiFi signal that can be used by users along the entire station and platforms (in Toledo only on the dock!). It could mark a small but significant step towards one better connectivity for Neapolitan commuters.
Despite the initial skepticism, it seems that this time the service is actually up and running. However, the unknown remains telephone coverage, another fundamental aspect to improve the commuter experience. If these initial successes are consolidated and expanded, a new phase of modernization could open up for the Naples metropolitan network.
