Metro Line 1, early closure on June 19th

ANM communicated that the 1 Line of the Naples Metro will bring forward the closing 19nd June to allow various verification and maintenance activities on the line.

The last trips will be scheduled at these times:

• from Piscinola at hours 21:10
• from Garibaldi to hours 21:34

An early closure which was necessary in order to guarantee the safety and efficiency of the service, although recently, despite the new trains, delays on the line are still very frequent.

What activities will be carried out

Line verification activities include:

• Security checks: verification of the integrity of the tracks and structures.
• Ordinary maintenance: maintenance interventions on convoys.
• Technical updates: implementation of technological improvements for the service.
