Mokase, from a Neapolitan company, is the smartphone cover that makes coffee

From a company in Naples comes Mokase, the first smartphone cover that also makes coffee!

You have always dreamed of answering Yup to the question "But your smarpthone also makes coffee“? Now you can because thanks to a Naples company was born Mokase, The first smartphone cover that literally makes coffee.

It looks like science fiction and yet it is a very original and innovative project that involves the use of coffee pods to be inserted in one side of the cover. Mokase was featured on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform and was designed by the young entrepreneur Clemente Biondo, from Santa Maria a Vico, and by the co-founder Luigi Canfora.

How Mokase works

Through aspecific app to be associated with the cover and download from Google Play or App Store, the mechanism will go into action and you can make coffee to be poured into the cup that will be supplied with the cover.

Basically, after starting the app, it will be enough press on the cup symbol above the cover and in a few seconds the preparation of coffee will begin. There built-in battery will heat it in 5-8 seconds and, when the acoustic signal sounds, you can pour the coffee into the cup supplied with the purchase of the cover.

Inside there are some low consumption resistors which do not alter the operation of the phone and an integrated USB port allows you to easily recharge the battery.

The pods are Mokaromi and you can choose between classic, toasted and Arabica flavors.

Design

In addition to the function we talked about, of course the cover also serves protect the phone and its design is minimal and innovative. Of course, there is a great isolation system that separates the coffee brewing mechanism from the phone.

More information is available on Mokase site. It is estimated that the first covers will be sent within the first ten days of September, to who will have financed the project on Kickstarter.
