The 2026 Sagre di Liberi festivals, now in their longest-running edition with 14 festive weekends from June 6th to September 6th, are nearing their grand finale. After the previous weekend's baked gnocchi, it's time for montanare: a traditional fried pasta dish from Campania, topped with tomato and cheese. At Liberi, this extra-large version is designed for those with big appetites and those who want to sample a hearty version of this popular classic.

The town in the Alto Casertano area, immersed in the greenery at the foot of Monte Melanico , is transformed for the occasion into a large open-air party space: food stands, live music, group dancing, and an amusement park area liven up the two evenings, with over a thousand seats and a large parking lot available for visitors.
