Naples, Murals in Piazza dei Martiri: McDonald's and the Breakfast that was not there!

McDonald's

A huge and bizarre snail hovers in Naples, precisely in Piazza dei Martiri. So McDonald's is sponsoring its “The Breakfast That Wasn't There” menu.

La breakfast that was not there drawn on the walls of Napoli, Milan and Florence: this way McDonald's decides to promote his new one morning menu dedicated to all the people who want to make the first break of the day in their restaurant.

Una dealer that does not go through the banal television and the now overly used web, but everything comes in an "indelible" way on the walls of some important cities, including ours.

The project is called "street art”Was put into practice by 7 Italian Writers which belong to the association Monkey Evolution.

It was not only the famous Fast Food chain that encouraged their work, but also the desire to show that "Graffitiism" is not just a simple form of vandalism. Drawing murals is not necessarily an act of rebellion and incivility, but if performed in the right way becomes pure legal art.

Yesterday ended i two days of work intense carried out a piazza dei Martiri in Naples. The Writers have made a graffiti that depicts a huge one snail, complete with hat and coffee, resting on an alarm clock indicating the time that for many represents the beginning of the day: the 07.00.

The shell of the cute animal could not be one mega donut! There is also a clear reference to McDonald's, in fact, in the clock display there is its famous yellow “M”.

The surface (a panel) on which the artwork is impressed reaches the 160 square meters and 170 spray cans were used for a total of 70 liters of color!

The other murals, different from the Neapolitan one, were made in the days before Milano (Via Torino) e Florence (Piazza Duomo).

La Room will offer both classic products, those that love the Neapolitans, and innovative (probably gods pancakes) and there should be both a sweet and savory menu. It will be available in over 300 McDonald's restaurants starting today (Friday September 6th).
