Free museums in Naples Sunday 6 December 2015: also open archaeological excavations and monuments

New appointment with #Domenicalmuseo in which museums, monuments, parks and archaeological areas will be free!

The initiative continues #Domenicalmuseo which allows free admission to museums in Italy, therefore also in Naples, giving citizens and tourists the opportunity to visit our wonderful museum heritage on Sunday at no cost 6 December 2015.

An appointment that is renewed every Sunday of the month and is enormously successful, especially during holiday periods. With the arrival of the Christmas holidays, Naples is seeing more and more its streets and squares fill up with thousands of tourists, interesting to visit also the numerous museums that the city has to offer.

With “A Sunday at the Museum” not only museums will be free, but many too historic houses parks, monuments, monumental gardens, areas and archaeological excavations. An unmissable opportunity for those wishing to visit one of the many cultural sites in the city.
The initiative came to life thanks to the Franceschini decree and the minister himself also launched an appeal to private individuals, hoping that also museums and private monuments can soon participate in this important event.
