The free museums in Naples open Sunday 4 June 2017 thanks to the #DomenicalMuseo initiative!
Sunday June 4 2017 the initiative is renewed #DomenicalMuseo and also i Naples museums will be free, as has been the case for almost three years now. Anyone between citizens and tourists will be able to visit our places of culture without paying the ticket and discover the history of our cultural heritage through art, sculpture and painting of which our sites are one of the highest expressions.
Throughout the day of Sunday 4 June will not be open only the museums, but also the archaeological sites such as historic buildings, gardens and monumental parks, galleries and monuments.
Pompeii Excavation Schedules
Only for the Pompeii excavations the entrance will be at bands due to the huge influx of visitors:
- from hour to hour 8.30 12.30
- from 14.30 onwards
The site it may be closed in advance compared to the times indicated if 15000 visitors are reached in the first time slot.
Exhibition on Picasso at the Museo di Capodimonte
Pearl Sunday with free museums, the Museum of Capodimonte will allow you to visit the Parade exhibition on Picasso at the price of 5 € instead of 12 euro.
