Free museums in Naples Sunday 7 December 2014

Museums and monuments with free admission in Naples and Campania for the #domenicalmuseo. National Archeology Day will also be held

It will be repeated Sunday 7 December 2014 the appointment now fixed since last July with the initiative #domenicalmuseo, which provides that every first Sunday of the month the ticket will not be paid to visit monuments, museums, galleries, archaeological excavations, parks and monumental gardens of the State.

State art and culture places with free admission also in Naples and Campania, where tourists and citizens can choose from many sites full of charm and cultural relevance. One more opportunity to get to know our artistic heritage and to immerse yourself in the beauty of our territory.

Among the free admission museums on Sunday 7 December 2014:

  • Castel Sant'Elmo
  • Certosa di San Martino
  • National archeologic museum
  • Villa Pignatelli
  • Museo del Novecento
  • Museum of Capodimonte
  • Museum of Ceramics Duca di Martina
  • Virgilio Park and Tomb
  • Floridiana
  • Excavations of Herculaneum
  • Ruins of Pompeii

On Sunday 7 December 2014, also held another concurrent event. It is about "National day of archeology, artistic heritage and restoration", which will include a series of appointments with restoration laboratories, guided visits to excavation sites and extraordinary openings of archaeological sites normally closed to the public, both in Naples and in the entire Campania region.
